Penshurst is the Place Find!

For generations, poets have been inspired by the literary and historical legacy of Penshurst Place. Robert Southey captured the essence of this inspiration in his poem. For a Tablet at Penshurst.

He also makes a suggestion:

...if such lore
Hath ever thrill'd thy bosom, thou wilt tread,
As with a pilgrim's reverential thoughts,
The groves of Penshurst.

Next Tuesday, the Kent Reading Detectives are going to take him up on this suggestion...Yippee!
